The Hobart and William Smith Colleges Chorale under the direction of Robert Cowles will present a concert as part of its annual spring tour. The performance will take place on Saturday, March 29, 7:30pm at Abington Presbyterian Church. The program will include works by several Spanish Renaissance composers, as well as by Franco-Flemish composer Josquin des Prez. Other composers featured will be Orlando Gibbons, Henry Purcell, Johann Michael Bach, Giacomo Carissimi, and Edvard Grieg. Also on the program the chamber vocal ensemble Cantori will perform "Journey," a newly commissioned work by New York-based composer George Andoniadis. The program will conclude with several fun arrangements from the Baltic and Scandinavian regions.
