Fellowship Activities
This is a sampling of the numerous fellowship activities
available at APC.
Ambassadors
Church members are commissioned to call on first time visitors,
to share with them specific aspects of the ministry of APC and
invite them to become a part of our church family.
Audio Visual Ministry
Volunteers record the 10am Celebration Service and special
events on DVD. DVD copies are shown at area hospitals and
assisted-living facilities. They are also made available to
homebound members and friends.
Homecoming Sunday
On the first Sunday after Labor Day, Abington Presbyterian
Church celebrates the end of Summer and the beginning of a new
program year with an outdoor celebration that includes games,
picnic food, live music, displays and activities for children.
MyKIDS Group
Parents of preschool age children gather monthly in homes for
fellowhsip, support and programs on parenting.
Music Program
Three graded bell choirs, two children's choirs, a youth choir,
and an adult choir that doubles as a community choir. Add the
Abington Symphony Orchestra and the Music at Abington series to
round out an ambitious music program that attracts music
professionals and aficionados from far and wide.

Registered nurses provide a variety of volunteer services to the
congregation including blood pressure screening each month.
Fellowship Potluck Dinners

Youth Talent Show
This has become an annual tradition at Abington Presbyterian
Church. Our Youth Fellowship holds a Caberet Night, featuring
their talents in skits, recitals and videos. The proceeds
fund their annual mission trip.
Quizzo
This is an opportunity for members and friends to get together
in our Parish Hall and use their brains to answer some challenging
trivia questions. We hold this event annually.
Presbyterian Women
A group of very active women organized into "circles" of various
interests which meet both as circles and as a group on the whole.
They support many worthwhile ministries such as the Presbyterian
Children's Village and raise money for various local and worldwide
missions of the church. You can learn more by clicking here.
Boy Scouts
Abington Presbyterian Church has a very active scouting program.
Troop 1 is one of oldest Scout troops in Eastern
