Summertime at APC features the annual Noah's Arts Camp for Kids
(NACK). The dates for 2011 are during the week of July 11-17
*. Participants in the camp experience a fun and engaging
week of activities including preparing and performing a musical,
and special explorations and presentations in Drama, Music,
Movement & Dance, Handbells, and Art.
APC's children's music staff, Ruth and John Sall, are camp
directors, but many vounteers assist with leading and teaching
specials all week. There is no better way to spend a summer
week singing, dancing, acting, painting, learning music techniques,
and praising God!
Registration
Space is available for rising 1st to 7th graders and early
registration is appreciated. Click here for a
printable sign-up form or pick up one in the education hallway or
office. The camp is open to anyone from the community whether
they are affiliated with APC or not.
Schedule
July 11th to 17th for any rising 1st to 7th grader.
Monday through Friday 9am to 4pm (aftercare available).
Friday, July 15th: 4pm preview performance
Sunday, July 17th: 10am performance during worship
*NOTE: Children are expected to perform the musical on Sunday,
July 17th at 10:00 am. Our call time will be 8:45am to warm-up and
dress in our costumes. Casting will be made with this date in
mind.
Fee
$50 per participant
