Greeting from Pastor Eelman
Thank you for taking the time to visit our webpage. I hope
that you will find the information that you are looking for as you
peruse the different sections. If you are looking for a
congregation, I hope that this provides a good introduction to some
of the activities that we offer.
I have been fortunate to serve Abington Presbyterian Church for
nearly ten years. During this time I have grown to love this
congregation and the community that it serves. Both the
church and the community have been around a long time, (check out
the history
page). Institutions do not survive this long without
adapting and changing. Abington Presbyterian Church is well
rooted in a long tradition, but it is a tradition that welcomes
forward looking change. It is also a tradition where faith is
manifest in love and hope.

Our vision is to be "Disciples of Christ in our Time." At the
center of our common life is Jesus Christ and we are called serve
God and humanity as his disciples. I hope that you and
